I guess I just have higher expectations. I expect the people I follow and show love for to return the favor and do the same. Quid pro quo. But no. Alas, most of them don’t even know what Quid pro quo means, which saddens me.

Thanks, Rob-san. With this new account, I’m following on 26 people. Of that 26, I only see a handful of you producing great original content. The others just reblog dumb shit. Seriously. I made it a point to not reblog shit unless it was really fuckin’ awesome, so my original content gets left in the middle of a sea of vapidness. It feels like wearing an awesome prom dress to the prom, then spending the entire night sitting by the punch bowl alone, waiting for someone to talk to you. You looked and felt gorgeous when you walked in… but now you just want to go home. So I will.

Sorry for disappointing you, core. Well, I made it clear to people that they should only follow me if they plan to interact with me. I had high expectations for this new account and they haven’t been met. I expect a lot because I give a lot and then some. Besides, you know you can (and always have) gotten the best of me via twitter. This doesn’t change that ;)
